Restaurant Review Guideline
Purpose of review
Pho411 aims to promote all Vietnamese restaurants in Canada. While we understand that some restaurants are "better" than others we want to give each restaurant an equal opportunity to shine. The purpose behind every review article is to introduce the restaurant to its community. The writer will visit the restaurant, try one or more of their dishes, then write about their visit, mainly focusing on the positives. We do not want to tell readers not to visit the restaurant, because then there would be no opportunity for discussions. We want to encourage readers to visit the restaurant, then hopefully return to the blog to comment on the article based on their experience.
Your Benefits
Unfortunately, we can not offer monetary incentives for your time and work. However, we hope you'll be able to promote your blog or website, or build your writing portfolio through the article you submit. But more importantly, we hope you'll use this as an excuse to eat Vietnamese food!
Requirements for a Complete Article
Each complete article would need to be accompanied by 1-3 photos. When possible, please resize the images to 590 pixels in width. Basic restaurant information, such as address, operation hours, and phone numbers are also needed.
Tone of Article
The tone is more or less positive. We want to give the readers reasons to visit the restaurant and find out for themselves if they like the food, if they like the service, or the atmosphere. There is no point in writing a very negative review of the restaurant, because that would be the end of the story.

We realize that every writer writes differently, so we are open to seeing your unique styles. But if you are unsure of how to put together your articles, please check out this article from one of our current writers, Kate. When in doubt, this review is a good guideline.
